You Can Help

Magic happens the minute our riders greet their pony and most certainly when they sit on their horse high above everyone else. It is something far greater than all the physical benefits - it is something that touches their soul. The rider and pony seem to be one. Each communicating one with the other through a bond of total acceptance and partnership. A smile of pure joy crosses the face of the rider and even beyond to their whole team of volunteers.

Since we began Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship (formerly Cincinnati Riding for the Handicapped) in 1985, we have never needed your help as much as we need it NOW.

In March of 2002, we purchased the former Red Fox Stable in Milford. Staff and many dedicated volunteers have worked hard to prepare the stable for our classes. There were so many repairs, renovations and construction items needed that we had to turn to professional help to complete our projects.

To have a home of our own was our dream! We are now able to serve more riders each year. We need your support to complete our dream. Help us keep the magic alive. Look over the list below to find many ways you can help. We are counting on you!

Current Projects - Your donations help make our wishes come true!

Indoor ring - replace outside wall section and walls and ceiling insulated

Improve ventilation in indoor riding ring and stall area

New electrical wiring

Repair block walls and construct doors in block walls of each stalls

Re-fence the five smallest exercise paddocks with double-fencing

Volunteer! We need enough volunteers to safely complete every scheduled class.
